GoldHealth Medical Blood Grouping Reagent Test Kit

Product Overview

GoldHealth Medical presents a premium diagnostic solution for the qualitative detection of ABO blood group antigens on human red blood cells. Leveraging advanced immunoagglutination technology, this test kit delivers rapid and reliable results through both slide and modified tube testing methods. Designed for precision and ease of use, it is an indispensable tool for healthcare professionals and research institutions.

Key Features

  • Monoclonal Antibodies: Utilizes highly specific mouse monoclonal IgM antibodies (Anti-A, Anti-B, Anti-AB) produced via in-vitro culture supernatants. These antibodies are meticulously engineered to target human red blood cell antigens A, B, and AB with unmatched accuracy.
  • Rho (D) Antigen Detection: Includes Anti-D (Rho) monoclonal IgM for detecting the Rho antigen, present in approximately 95% of the population.
  • Consistent Performance: Identical chemical structure ensures batch-to-batch consistency, eliminating variability in results.
  • High Sensitivity: Demonstrates a titre of 1:512 for Anti-A and Anti-B, and 1:256 for Anti-D (IgG+IgM), with an average avidity of less than 10 seconds using whole blood.

Applications

  • Clinical Diagnostics: Ideal for hospitals, clinics, and laboratories requiring precise blood grouping.
  • Research and Development: Supports studies in hematology and immunology.
  • Point-of-Care Testing: Enables quick and accurate results in remote or resource-limited settings.

Technical Specifications

  • Format: Ready-to-use liquid reagent
  • Shelf Life: 24 months
  • Storage Temperature: 2-8°C (do not freeze)
  • Method: Slide and tube test
  • Accuracy: High specificity and no stickiness
  • Sample Type: Whole blood with anticoagulant

Procedure

Slide Test
  1. Place one drop each of Anti-A, Anti-B, Anti-D, and Anti-AB reagents on a clean, dry slide.
  2. Add one drop of whole blood to each reagent and mix thoroughly with an applicator stick.
  3. Gently rock the slide back and forth.
  4. Observe for agglutination within 2 minutes.
Tube Test
  1. Prepare a 5% suspension of red blood cells in isotonic saline.
  2. Add one drop of each reagent (Anti-A, Anti-B, Anti-D, Anti-AB) into labeled tubes.
  3. Add one drop of cell suspension to each tube and mix well.
  4. Centrifuge at 1000 RPM for 1-2 minutes or incubate at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
  5. Gently dislodge the cell button and observe for agglutination.

Interpretation of Results

  • Agglutination: Indicates the presence of corresponding antigens (A, B, AB, or Rho).
  • No Agglutination: Indicates the absence of corresponding antigens.

Agglutination Patterns

  • Anti-A: Positive (+), Anti-B: Negative (-), Anti-AB: Positive (+) → Blood Group A
  • Anti-A: Negative (-), Anti-B: Positive (+), Anti-AB: Positive (+) → Blood Group B
  • Anti-A: Positive (+), Anti-B: Positive (+), Anti-AB: Positive (+) → Blood Group AB
  • Anti-A: Negative (-), Anti-B: Negative (-), Anti-AB: Negative (-) → Blood Group O
