Directions for Use

1. Close both roller clamps.
2. Remove the protector from the spike and insert it fully into the IV container. Open the air vent cap.
3. Open the top roller clamp and air vent cap. Fill the burette chamber to approximately 30mL, then close the top roller clamp. Squeeze the flexible drip chamber until the fluid level reaches the half-full line.
4. Open the bottom roller clamp to expel air bubbles, then close the clamp.
5. Open the top roller clamp and fill the burette chamber to the desired level, then close the clamp.
6. Perform venipuncture.
7. Open the bottom clamp and regulate the flow using the roller.
8. Add medication through the injection site as needed.
